VANUNG UNIVERSITY AND AIRWAYS AVIATION SIGN MOU

Vanung University and Airways Aviation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to provide further aviation academic pathways for Taiwanese students.

Airways Aviation, a global flight training provider, with bases in the UK, Spain, Montenegro, and Australia has over 30 years of pilot training experience. Airways Aviation provides various courses including the Bachelor of Business (Aviation Management) inclusive of the Diploma of Aviation (CPL and Multi-Engine IR) in conjunction with Southern Cross University.

Vanung University founded in 1972 located near Taoyuan International Airport, Taiwan, specializes in Aviation training including Aeronautical and Opto-Mechatronic Engineering and Airline and Transport Management.

The MOU will see Airways Aviation and Vanung University develop academic programs for current and future Vanung students to continue their study within Australia and receive a Bachelor of Business (Aviation Management) and Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence) and Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating).

The first program has commenced and consists of three years Engineering study at Vanung University, followed by one year at Airways Aviation, to complete the Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence) and Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating), followed by a further year, at Southern Cross University, to complete the Bachelor of Business (Aviation Management). Airways Aviation will welcome the first student from Vanung University in June 2019.

Airways Aviation General Manager, Helena Tierney commented saying;
