AIRWAYS AVIATION
Portugal

Airways Aviation Portugal was established in 2025 following a commercial partnership agreement with OATC – Omni Aviation Training Center.

OATC was established in 1998 as part of Omni Group, a leading Portuguese aviation group and has become one of the leading aviation training organizations in Portugal. In 2003 achieved JAR-FCL approval for FTO (Flight Training Organization) and TRTO (Type Rating Training Organization) and later became EASA approved as ATO offering Ab Initio and Type Rating courses and CCTO for Cabin Crew courses.

It's headquartered at Cascais Airport, a business aviation and general aviation airport located 20kms from Lisbon where it offers Theoretical and practical training. Also operates flight training locations in Ponte de Sor and Évora aerodromes.

The partnership includes a share of each group’s assets. Airways Aviation added multiple Diamond aircraft and simulator to the fleet whereas OATC provides facilities and instructors.
