I Studied Information Technology Management for Business at Loughborough University. After completing my degree I went to America and completed an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Commercial Pilots License, which I am now in the process of converting to an EASA ATPL (A)
After exploring all my options carefully, Airways was the only flight school which had the easiest and most clearly defined licence conversion process.
My main requirement was to be able to complete my ATPL theory and flying hours at the same school. This was something only Airways could offer.
Airways has a very relaxed environment which definitely relieves some of the pressure involved in studying for the ATPLs. The work and exam schedule is very demanding and the instructors demand the highest levels of commitment from all students, but ….
…the students and instructors have a friendly and open relationship
that enables both parties to get the best out of each other to achieve the required results
Do your research before embarking on this journey. The decision to become a pilot is not one to be taken lightly! The training we do at Airways requires 100% commitment, motivation, and perseverance to keep going when the going gets tough. Ask anyone studying ATPL’s and they will surely tell you it is mentally, emotionally and financially taxing. If you do decide to do it, you have to be all in.
