ATPL theory is required to achieve your commercial pilot license.

The objective of the ATPL theoretical modular course is to reach a level of knowledge that allows the student to successfully pass the various modules of ATPL theoretical certificates.

To accommodate your specific needs, we offer you 4 different options to study ATPL, each of them is focused on your success.  

Modular ATPL Theory

Option 1: Full-time onsite with instructor
Commitment: 762 study hours
Investment: €9,500

Suited for people who want to complete their study in the shortest possible time and be led by an experienced instructor.

Option 2: Full-time distance learning with instructor
Commitment: 762 study hours
Investment: €9,500

Suited for people who want to study from home, save money on accommodation and living expenses and be led by an experienced instructor.

Self-study ATPL Theory

Option 3: Flexible self-study
Commitment: 650 study hours
Investment: €2,000

Suited for people who want to study from home, save money on accommodation and living expenses.

Option 4: Flexible self-study with Instructor support
Commitment: 650 study hours
Investment: €2,000

Suited for people who want to study from home, save money on accommodation and living expenses and be led by an experienced instructor.

Note: ATPL theory is a an intense training, and it is not recommended to choose the self-study option if you do not have an adequate method of study.

Self-study program for the EASA ATPL (A), in 3 phases covering 14 subjects corresponding to 650 H of home study.
The programme is established over a range of 24 months. 2-weeks revisions covering all the subjects corresponding to 10 % of home study time, namely 65 hours during the 24 months period are performed on site.
AIRWAYS AVIATION holistically integrates Area 100 KSA into the entire training syllabus. A particular emphasis will be on training through real-world situations, dealing with emergency events, stimulating resilience, and more.
The training structure meets EASA requirements and include two formative assessments, two summative assessments and a mental math test.
Revisions includes classroom and practical work to address the subject and the Area 100 KSA LOs, such as but not limited to: lessons, tutorials and demonstrations; planning, communications, group presentation, scenario and project exercises; practical work using simulator training devices, computer-based training, workbook exercises, assignments, airport and/or aviation industry field trips and other media training.

  • 18 years old or over
  • Valid class 1 medical
  • Be fluent in English (preferred IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 650)
  • PPL license (for Modular Training)
