Julie and Marc-Antoine's story:
Brother and sister cross careers!
Both of us decided to join AIRWAYS AVIATION ESMA as soon as we had graduated from our secondary education.
Training for the CCA license and becoming flight attendants: that's really what we'd always wanted to do!
At AIRWAYS AVIATION ESMA we met some wonderful people with whom we've kept in touch ever since.
Julie: For me, the cabin crew profession has been something I have dreamt about since I was a little girl. Every time I boarded a plane, I was always amazed to see the crew with their hair and make-up in uniform. And to be here today, in the place that made me dream so much, is an immense source of pride for me. I'm even prouder and happier to have passed on this passion to my brother.
Marc-Antoine: I too have always been attracted to the world of aviation. It all clicked one evening when I saw my sister trying on her uniforms and I said to myself "that's what I want to do too".
Julie and Marc-Antoine: We've both been seasonal employees with Air Corsica since summer 2021.
It was our first flight working together, and the first time our grandmother and aunt had seen us both on board.
We were on an A320, 4 legs (AJA-ORY / ORY-AJA / AJA-MRS / MRS-AJA) 14h30-23h30. Marc-Antoine, who had only just joined the airline, was at ease, smiling from ear to ear. I was just as proud to be able to share this moment with him.
Of course, we immortalised this moment and took so many photos!
We mainly operate flights between Corsica and the mainland in A320s and ATR72s.
In the summer, we're lucky enough to fly to other destinations a little further afield, such as London, Casablanca, Vienna, Salzburg, Rome, Charleroi... I find that in this job, there's no routine and that's what I love about it. Every flight is different, there's no such thing as a typical day.
Today we are proud to have been able to join an airline and above all to represent the colors of our regional airline Air Corsica.

Destins croisés frère sœur !
L’un comme l’autre, après l’obtention de notre baccalauréat général, nous avons décidé d’intégrer rapidement AIRWAYS AVIATION ESMA pour faire la formation CCA et devenir Hôtesse de l’Air et Steward. C’est vraiment ce métier que nous souhaitions faire depuis toujours.
A AIRWAYS AVIATION ESMA nous avons fait de merveilleuses rencontres avec qui nous sommes restés en contact.
Julie : Pour ma part, le métier de Personnel Navigant Commercial, était un rêve depuis petite. A chaque fois que je montais à bord d’un avion, j’étais toujours émerveillée de voir les membres d’équipage, coiffées, maquillées, en uniforme. Et d’être là aujourd’hui, à cette place qui me faisait tant rêver est pour moi une immense fierté. Encore plus fière et heureuse d’avoir transmis cette passion à mon frère.
Marc-Antoine : Moi aussi, j’ai toujours été attiré par le monde de l’aérien. J’ai eu le déclic un soir en voyant ma sœur essayer ses uniformes et je me suis dit « c’est ça que je veux faire moi aussi »
Julie et Marc-Antoine : Nous sommes maintenant tous les 2 saisonniers au sein de la compagnie Air Corsica depuis l’été 2021.
Premier vol ensemble, première fois que notre grand-mère et notre tante nous voyaient t tous les deux à bord. Nous étions sur un A320, 4 étapes (AJA-ORY / ORY-AJA / AJA-MRS / MRS-AJA) 14h30-23h30. Tout s’est très bien passé, Marc-Antoine qui venait à peine d’intégrer la compagnie était très à l’aise, sourire jusqu’aux oreilles. Et moi tout aussi fière de pouvoir partager ce moment avec lui.
Nous faisons principalement des vols qui relient la Corse au continent en A320 et ATR72. Mais l’été, nous avons la chance de voler vers d’autres destinations un peu plus lointaines comme Londres, Casablanca, Viennes, Salzbourg, Rome, Charleroi… Je trouve que dans ce métier, il n’y a pas de routine et c’est ça qui me plaît. Tous les vols sont différents, il n’y a pas de journée type.

Aujourd’hui nous sommes fiers d’avoir pu intégrer une compagnie aérienne et surtout de représenter les couleurs de notre compagnie régionale Air Corsica.
