Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) and Airways Aviation Academy (AAA) have signed a Cooperation Agreement on 1 September 2018, whereby AAA will be providing training to students recommended by Bahrain-based GAA, to obtain an EASA ATPL (European Aviation Safety Agency approved frozen Airline Transport Pilot License).
AAA, a global flight training provider, with bases in the UK, Spain, Montenegro, and Australia, will be offering full-time pilot training programs to GAA candidates beginning October of 2018. The 81-week program includes 230 hours of flight training and 767 hours of Theoretical Knowledge Training, and will take place at AAA’s facilities in Huesca, Spain.
Captain Dhaffer Al Abbasi, CEO of GAA, commented saying: “Airways Aviation Academy has an impressive track record of graduating thousands of successful pilots from around the world. We are looking forward to start referring students to them.”
Marwan Atalla, Executive Chairman of Airways Aviation, said: “GAA is a forward-thinking academy, who shares our firm principles of quality education. We value their trust in our highly developed pilot training programs, and we are anticipating the arrival of the first group of students from Bahrain this fall.”
A joint session will be held in Bahrain on October 6th and 7th, 2018, at GAA’s facilities in Bahrain. The program will be outlined in detail, and interested future pilots will be invited to participate in the joint selection test conducted by GAA & AAA.
