
The Airways Aviation Multi Engine Piston Class Rating (MEP) provides you with the skills, experience and knowledge to fly as pilot in command of a twin engine aircraft. This is an EASA accredited course and is an important rating for pilots working towards their Commercial Pilot Licence or Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
Course structure
Our MEP course is offered over 1 week and comprises of:
- 7 hours of ground school theory instruction
- 6 hours of dual flight instruction in engine failure procedures and asymmetric flight techniques
