Our ICAO to EASA license Conversion course is a simple procedure designed to support experienced pilots to convert their license to EASA in a short time frame and be ready to work immediately.

We have more than 40 years of experience in delivering training and we have lifelong partnership with simulator training providers which, in conjunction with DGAC approval which will follow directly, will give you the highest standards of training in the most effective way.
We offer our accredited pilot training at our purpose-built academy at Montpellier Méditerranée Airport. Our courses were created in consultation with leading airlines and covers the rigorous technical requirements of pilot training, but also includes personal and professional development at every stage of the process.

Our approved Conversion programme (fully approved by the EASA French Authority – DGAC) is as follows:

Please note that only a valid License can be converted to an EASA license.

• If you hold an ICAO CPL, IR/ME license:

A – The first step is to pass the theoretical EASA ATPL in order to take the DGAC exams and you have two choices:

– You can choose the ATPL distance learning (self-study 2000€)

– Or you prefer training at our school, ATPL (9 months face-to-face 9500€)

There are a maximum of 6 exam sessions for 13 modules to be validated.

B – Once the theoretical ATPL has been passed, we study a specific training program according to your experience, which we must submit to the DGAC (DGAC cost of €490).

To evaluate this personalized program, we would need:

– A copy of your pilot license with its expiry date

– A copy of your flight logbook

– A copy of your EASA class 1 medical certificate or an appointment confirmation.

Attention: We don’t do the practical part at present.

• If you hold an ATPL ICAO license:

You must also pass the theoretical EASA ATPL first

A – The first step is to pass the theoretical EASA ATPL as well. However, you are not required to be registered in an ATO to take the DGAC exams. However, from experience, we recommend the ATPL distance training (self-study 2000€)

There are a maximum of 6 exam sessions for 13 modules to be validated

B – Once the theoretical ATPL has been passed, you must complete a 3-hour simulator session (FFS) with an EASA certified type examiner qualified on your aircraft type to convert your license to EASA ATPL.

We can not do it at our school.

Our modern facilities are designed to offer everything needed for great achievements and an outstanding training experience.
