This course is a partnership course between CQUniversity and Airways Aviation.
If the sky is the limit for your career, CQUniversity’s flight operations courses will provide you with the skills required to become a commercial pilot. The Graduate Diploma of Aviation (Flight Operations) CL17 is studied concurrently with the Bachelor of Aviation (Flight Operations) CL09.
THEORY AND FLIGHT TRAINING
Through online training and interactive learning stations you will gain an understanding of the theories and practices required of a professional pilot and explore the associated ethical, legal and human factor issues in this field. At key milestone points, Airways Aviation will provide the practical flight training. After enrolling, you will need to select Airways Aviation as your preferred provider of flight training.

- Aviation Physics

- Flight Planning, Performance and Operation (Private Pilot Licence)
SECOND YEAR UNITS
- Commercial Pilot Licence:
- Aerodynamics, General Aeronautical Knowledge, Navigation, Meteorology, Flight Planning, Performance and Loading, and Aviation Human Factors
- Instrument Flight Rules and Procedures
THIRD YEAR UNITS
- Air Transport Pilot Licence: Navigation, Meteorology, Aerodynamics and Aircraft General Knowledge, Aviation Human Factors, Flight Planning, Performance and Loading, Multi-Crew Cooperation, and Aviation Safety Management Systems
- Multi Crew Coordination Endorsement on our B737 Simulator
