The airline group, Air France Aviation Group, today announced that it has acquired the French Supreme Academy for Pilot Training and Education (ESMA).
The French Supreme Academy for Training and Education of Pilots was established in 1988 and is based in Montpellier Mediterranee International Airport in southern France, and is the largest and most important private multidisciplinary aviation academy in Europe.
“This is an important step in the field of aviation as the group works to enhance our global presence in the aviation industry by providing more effective and efficient solutions to the sector to meet the growing demand for properly trained and properly trained cadres,” said Romy Hawt, founder and CEO of Aero Aviation Aviation Group.

The current fleet of the group has more than 34 Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft and 16 Cessna 172 and 182 aircraft in its various operating bases.
The French Academy is an accredited body by the European Aviation Safety Agency to train pilots and offers a set of European accredited training courses including the professional pilot program, the aircraft maintenance program and the aircraft service program after landing and parking in corridors, which includes dealing with dangerous goods and safety rules, a program certified by The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Amadeus International, have accepted technology services and innovation for airline business solutions and the unmanned aircraft training program.
The Academy headquarters is directly related to Montpellier Airport and it extends over an area of 11,600 square meters, where the campus facilities are divided into different areas where a variety of activities are held and includes classrooms equipped with the latest modern technologies to host lectures, modern simulators, training facilities for air crews, maintenance centers and educational facilities And a student housing complex for up to 100 students.
It is reported that the new entity “Air Aviation Aviation Group / French Supreme Academy for Pilot Training and Education” is accredited by the European Aviation Safety Agency, the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (Casa) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) – Montenegro, the UAE General Authority for Civil Aviation and the General Administration of Aviation Civil in Kuwait in addition to the General Administration of Civil Aviation in China.
And with the joining of the French Academy, the area of training facilities built by the group amounts to 25,000 square meters in addition to enjoying the largest presence in the field of training for pilots globally as the group’s customers extend to an area of approximately 350 thousand square kilometers in the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Montenegro and Australia .
