Airways Aviation Group announced today the acquisition of ESMA (Higher School of Aeronautical Trades), renowned in France.
Founded in 1988 and located at Montpellier Méditerranée Airport, ESMA is the largest and most important multidisciplinary (private) aviation school in Europe. With direct access to the airport and with a built-up area of approximately 11,600 m², the ESMA campus is divided into several areas of activity, including modern classrooms, simulators, staff training facilities seagoing, a maintenance hangar for the fleet, a hangar for maintenance training, as well as student accommodation on site for more than 100 students.
As a training organization approved by EASA, ESMA offers a multitude of courses certified by Europe, in particular airline pilot training (EASA ATP), Part 147 maintenance training as well as Part 145 (CAMO). , MRO) intended for the maintenance of the fleet on site but also for learning, training of cabin crew (PNC), ground staff (Traffic Officer, Commercial Agent, air operations, dangerous products,) under IATA certifications and AMADEUS.

Airways / ESMA approvals and certifications include EASA, CASA, Montenegro ICAO, UAE GCAA and Kuwait DGAC certifications, as well as the highly respected CAAC (Civil Aviation Authority of China) approvals.

With the addition of ESMA, Airways Aviation Group now has approximately 25,000 m² of facilities with the widest and most diverse conditions and environment (from the sea to the Alps) for training pilots worldwide, covering around 350,000 m² in the United Kingdom.
